this is a shot right in the face to people who try to diminish the importance of social media and try to pass it off as a narcissistic trend of our generation. No, its a tool for communication, community, organization and change at its best. At its worst, sure, its a tool for creepers and teenie boppers. But the benefits still far out weigh the negatives.
